Der Krieg hat das Leben im Dorf noch nicht allzu sehr beeintr\u00e4chtigt. Durch die Augen des 11-j\u00e4hrigen Chr\u00ebscht Knapp, Sohn eines Schreiners, lernen wir seine Familie und die Menschen im Dorf kennen. Die meisten sind auf die eine oder andere Weise im <a href=\"https:\/\/www.landofmemory.eu\/de\/sujets-thematiques\/der-widerstand-im-grossherzogtum-luxemburg\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Widerstand<\/a> engagiert, aber einige kollaborieren auch mit den Besatzern.<\/p>\n\n<p>Eines sch\u00f6nen Tages \u00e4ndert sich alles in dem kleinen Dorf Chr\u00ebscht. Ein Einwohner wird hingerichtet, weil er am <a href=\"https:\/\/www.landofmemory.eu\/de\/sites-historiques\/nationales-denkmal-des-streiks\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Generalstreik vom 9. Oktober 1942 teilgenommen hat<\/a>.
