Licherte<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-vertically-aligned-center is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>Das Fort d\u2019Embourg wurde zwischen 1888 und 1892 unter dem Befehl von General Brialmont erbaut. Brialmont war auch f\u00fcr die 12 anderen Festungen verantwortlich, die den Festungsring von L\u00fcttich (P.F.L.) bilden und f\u00fcr die er einen sternf\u00f6rmigen Plan in Bezug auf die Stadt erstellte. Sie unterscheidet sich von den anderen Festungen durch ihre rechteckige Form und ihre Lage in gr\u00f6\u00dferer H\u00f6he, mit Blick auf die T\u00e4ler der Ourthe und der Vesdre.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n<p>W\u00e4hrend des Ersten Weltkriegs war das Fort d&#8217;Embourg, wie der Rest der P.F.L., Ziel schwerer deutscher Bombenangriffe. Nach einem x-ten Angriff und 30 Stunden unterbrochener Bombardierung zwischen dem 12. und 13. August 1914 wurde es vom feindlichen Lager eingenommen. So blieb es f\u00fcr den Rest des Konflikts von den Deutschen besetzt.&#13;\n<\/p>\n\n<p>In der Zwischenkriegszeit profitierte die Festung von einigen Vorkehrungen, die jedoch nicht verhindern konnten, dass sie am 17. Mai 1940 w\u00e4hrend der Schlacht um Belgien als erste L\u00fctticher Verteidigungsfestung ihre Waffen abgab, weil sie nach den endlosen Bombardierungen zu ersticken drohte.<\/p>\n\n<p>Im Jahr 1946 wurde das Fort von einem Verein erworben, der dort ein Museum einrichtete. Seit 1973 beherbergt es schlie\u00dflich ein einzigartiges Museum mit einer au\u00dfergew\u00f6hnlichen Sammlung von Waffen, Kost\u00fcmen und Ausr\u00fcstungsgegenst\u00e4nden: eine Goldgrube f\u00fcr Liebhaber!&#13;\n<\/p>\n\n<p>Die F\u00fchrungen werden von Fachleuten durchgef\u00fchrt. Dank ihrer authentischen Schilderungen und pr\u00e4zisen Erkl\u00e4rungen werden sie in der Lage sein, ihr gesamtes Wissen weiterzugeben.<\/p>\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-columns is-layout-flex
