Dieses Museum ist dem Gedenken an den amerikanischen General George S. Patton gewidmet, der die Division f\u00fchrte, die 1944 die Stadt Ettelbruck von der deutschen Besatzung befreite. Das 1995 in Ettelbruck er\u00f6ffnete Museum enth\u00e4lt eine reichhaltige Sammlung von Fotos und Dokumenten, die die Geschichte der deutschen Invasion in der Region nachzeichnen.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n

Ettelbruck hat den Spitznamen „Patton Town“. Von 1954 bis 2004 feierte die Stadt den Tag der Erinnerung, der dem Gedenken an die Befreiung der Stadt und an General Patton gewidmet war. Das Museum beherbergt eine drei Meter hohe Statue des Generals und einige seiner pers\u00f6nlichen Gegenst\u00e4nde.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Ein Teil der Ausstellung ist auch der Ardennenschlacht gewidmet. Zu sehen ist eine beeindruckende Sammlung von Waffen und Ausr\u00fcstungsgegenst\u00e4nden. Der letzte Teil des Museums erz\u00e4hlt die Geschichte des Luftkriegs in Luxemburg.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n
