Damals war der Ort ein Studienzentrum, das von dem deutschen Hauptmann Hans Maguerre geleitet wurde. Er baute ein Betonwerk und ein Testgel\u00e4nde f\u00fcr Geb\u00e4ude ohne Fundament.
