Nuts Weekend in Bastogne

Nuts week-end

The Nuts Weekend festivities are back in Bastogne on December 10, 11 and 12. The Bastogne War Museum offers an interesting program, integrated in a set of other activities organized by the City of Bastogne. Festivities include a military parade, traditional nut throwing, and many other activities.

A weekend of festivities

“Brothers in arms” on Saturday, December 11. And more moving, the return of 7 veterans of the Second World War, on Sunday, December 12.

Among the actors, we announce the arrival of Shane Taylor and Lucie Jeanne, who played Eugene “Doc” Roe and Renee Lemaire, respectively. And among the veterans, the famous Vince Speranza of the 101st Airborne Division will speak. At 96 years old, he has lost none of his former ardor, and his memories of the war are still very clear.

An audio tour of the museum is offered from 9:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. (the last entry is at 4:00 p.m.). Therefore, it is advisable to reserve your place in advance via the museum’s e-ticket. The Covid Safe Ticket is mandatory.

Until then, if the sanitary measures evolve, any changes will be announced via the Facebook page and the website. Info:
