However, it is also a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.landofmemory.eu\/en\/sites-historiques\/the-town-of-verdun\/\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\">lovely setting for walks<\/a>. With its green surroundings, the region offers magnificent landscapes. Thanks to a specialized forestry technician of the region, we can discover beautiful places that are unknown and sometimes inaccessible to the general public. This hike offers you a unique experience in total safety, thanks to the ONF guides. <\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"un-itineraire-passionnant\"><strong>An exciting route <\/strong><\/h2>\n\n<p>The itinerary goes through some byways that allow us to discover the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.landofmemory.eu\/en\/historic-sites\/\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\">secrets of the battlefield<\/a>. Fort Souville, the site of the Bois des Caures, and many other surprises are to be found. The hike extends over a distance of 3km and lasts about 3 hours. A leisurely pace allows you to fully enjoy the landscape while listening to the guide&#8217;s anecdotes.
