In de zomer van 1943, tijdens de bezetting van Luxemburg door de nazi’s, doodt de jonge verzetsstrijder Emil Schwirtz twee Duitse gendarmes. Tijdens deze schietpartij wordt zijn vriend F\u00e9lix Lux neergeschoten door de nazi’s. Emil wist zich te verstoppen. Meer dan 500 Duitse politieagenten en soldaten kamden de dorpen Eschdorf en Heiderscheid uit om Emil en zijn mede-rebellen te vinden. 20 gijzelaars werden aangewezen om te worden ge\u00ebxecuteerd als de daders niet werden gepakt.<\/p>\n\n

De film is een mix van interviews en fictieve sc\u00e8nes. Het zit vol spanning en emotie, genoeg om je rillingen te bezorgen.<\/p>\n
