Hij is ook de auteur van korte verhalen en vertellingen in het L\u00ebtzebuergesch die de gevolgen van de Eerste Wereldoorlog in Luxemburg aan de orde stellen en het plattelandsleven in de 19e eeuw analyseren. Hij heeft ook enkele korte verhalen in het Duits geschreven. Een verzameling van zeven verhalen, &#8220;7 Erzielongen&#8221; of &#8220;7 Doelstellingen&#8221; werd postuum gepubliceerd in 1998. Verschillende teksten van Isidore Comes zijn ongepubliceerd gebleven.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Hoewel hij geen carri\u00e8re als auteur heeft gemaakt, wordt hij door zijn tijdgenoten geprezen om zijn werk.
