Volg het pad van het “Belgisch Legioen”, ook bekend als het “Geheime Leger”, en duik onder in de gebeurtenissen van het Belgische verzet. Deze natuurwandeling rond het kasteel van Vyle bestaat uit verklarende panelen die beschikbaar zijn in het Frans en het Nederlands. \n<\/p>\n

Toen Belgi\u00eb zich in mei 1940 overgaf, werd er een verzet georganiseerd met een commando in Londen: het “Belgisch Legioen”. In 1944 verlieten elke ochtend en avond twee verpleegsters het kasteel van de gravinnen van Meeus in Vyle, het hoofdkwartier van het Rode Kruis in Bagatelle. Hun doel is de verschillende pelotons te bezoeken. Deze worden gemobiliseerd rond een vlakte die bestemd is voor de kostbare parachutering van wapens, munitie en uitrusting. \n<\/p>\n\n

Wij zijn in hun voetsporen getreden vanaf het Ch\u00e2teau de Vyle, voor een wandeling van 9 km. Je vindt er frisse lucht en boeiende en ontroerende verhalen. \n<\/p>\n
