De stad Spa staat bekend om zijn charme als kuuroord. Maar het werd ook gewaardeerd door Duitse officieren en Willem II. Spa herbergde achtereenvolgens een ziekenhuis van het Rode Kruis, een herstellingsoord voor Duitse soldaten en het hoofdkwartier van de keizer. Het was hier dat hij verbleef op het moment van de capitulatie. Het was ook hier dat de Duitsers en de Geallieerden het herstelbetalingsprotocol ondertekenden dat gekoppeld was aan het Verdrag van Versailles. \n<\/p>\n\n

Tijdens een rondleiding in klederdracht (in het Frans, Engels, Nederlands en Duits) kunt u zich onderdompelen in deze boeiende geschiedenis. \n<\/p>\n
