André Link published Auf Winters Schneide in 2010, which means “On the edge of winter” in German. The novel deals with the events leading up to the abdication of Grand Duchess Marie-Adélaïde in 1919. Nikolaus Welter, Auguste Liesch and the Minister of State at the time, Emile Reuter, played a role in these events.
