“The Two Live in the Mountain, or in Luxembourgish “Déi Zwéi wun Bierg”, is a film that immerses us in the events that took place in Luxembourg during the war.

The two friends Mill and Välten live in a small village in northern Luxembourg. But when the Nazis occupy the country in 1940, everything changes for them.

The film presents daily life during the German occupation: confiscations and humiliations, the threat of forced recruitment, the death of relatives, deportations, collaboration and resistance.
