“Dear Luxembourgers”, from the Luxembourgish “Léif Lëtzebuerger”, is the story of Grand Duchess Charlotte in exile during the Second World War. The arrival of Nazi troops in Luxembourg in May 1940 forced her to leave the country.

This documentary depicts the departure and exile of the Grand Duchess and her government. She passed through France, Spain and Portugal before reaching London, from where she supported the people of Luxembourg in her speeches on the BBC.
