Willy Vassaux et Pierre Lepage

On the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the Second World War, the cartoonist W.Vasseur joined forces with Jules Metz, a native of the Ardennes who served in the RAF (British Royal Air Force) to tell the story of the Second World War to younger readers with extreme precision (A l’assaut des démocraties, Ardennes: décembre 44). He specializes in historical comics with Nuts, Bastogne, tthe Battle of the Bulge, and 20 years in 45 in Normandy. These comics share a unique way to pay tribute to all those who lost their lives to save our freedoms.
